Congratulations to ACE High School’s Class of 2014!
The evening ceremony on June 2 2014, was personalized with a slide show featuring each of the forty-two young men and women who successfully made their transitions from high school students to graduates. After valedictorian, Justin Thomas Moore addressed his peers and those in attendance, Principal DeRuse shared some words of wisdom; and then Director, Leigh Berdrow began presenting the diplomas along with other administration, faculty and board of director members.
What makes these young men and women unique from other graduates this time of year is the curriculum they’ve been studying over the past few years. While typical high schools prepare their students to enter college and then find out what career path they want to follow, ACE’s students are generally more career-minded than most; so they have a better understanding of where they see themselves. By the time they graduate, they leave with a skill set that’s needed in today’s workforce. The class of 2014 also leaves high school having earned between 7-36 college credits.
The graduating classes honor roll included: Vittorio Alessandor Albiniano, Christopher Steven Garcia, Adam Eli Kidd and Justin Thomas Moore.
