Education Collaborative celebrates job shadowing at Career Days event

All the business that hosted more than 600 students from 13 middle schools in job shadowing experiences and who made such a great success of Career Exploration Days, sponsored by Education Collaborative of Washoe County School District. Business include: Animal Ark; Charter Communications; Costco Reno; Desert Research Institute; Harrah’s Reno; Incline Village General Improvement District; Nevada Job Connect; KRNV Channel 4; SNCAT Media Center; Microsoft Licensing; Northern Nevada Medical Center; Nevada Humane Society; REMSA; St. Mary’s Health Network; The Summit Sierra Shopping Center; University of Nevada, Reno Mackay School of Earth Sciences; University of Nevada, Reno Computer Science and Engineering; Washoe County Court House;

Washoe County District Attorney; and Academy for Career Education.

The annual event is funded by Nevada Public Education foundation, USA Funds, Alcoa Foundation and Nell J. Redfield Foundation.
